How is your hand-eye coordination? How much does vision play a role in how you throw? How quickly can you adapt to incorrect visual information? And how quickly does your brain adjust?
The mapping of the human visual system is quite extensive. Why? Because humans are visual creatures. Vision is used in almost every aspect of human interaction. In this activity, you will learn about motor control and the visual system as you and other volunteers play corn hole with and without Perception goggles (i.e. drunk goggles). You will be able to observe firsthand how quickly our brains and bodies adapt (or don’t) when vision is modified.

Is what you see, what you feel? Multi-sensory perception studies how our senses, such as sight and touch, are integrated together in our nervous system. PBS welcomes you to come learn about synaptic plasticity (rewiring the brain) and integration of your sense. Come watch and/or participate as we reveal how your senses are connected and how a rubber hand can become your own.
