In the ground floor labs
In science we love to measure waves. All waves share three properties: amplitude, wavelength, and frequency. One of the most useful tools at our disposal to measure these properties is a spectrometer. This instrument allows light to enter from your chosen source, which is diffracted or separated into its component parts. Here guests will build their own spectrometers and use them to observe different light sources! What colors do you expect from a plant light or a cool or warm colored light?
