Chris Martin, a research scientist and CISAB affiliate at the Indianapolis Zoo has developed computer programs that allow us to learn about chimpanzee and orangutan intelligence. He has taught chimpanzees to do simple tasks, and then measured how quickly they can complete those tasks. Think you can do better? Come find out! At this station, you will learn how to do a simple task, and then race against the clock to see if you can perform the task more quickly than a chimpanzee.
